1. Product Introduction
The coalescing filter element is the core filter component of the coalescence and separation system. It is made of special composite glass fiber and high-precision filter materials with hydrophobic-oleophilic or hydrophilic-oleophobic properties.
It mainly coalesces tiny and dispersed emulsified droplets in the medium into large droplets, realizing efficient separation such as water-in-oil, oil-in-water, and liquid-in-gas. Widely applied in equipment for oil dehydration, gas purification, and chemical liquid-liquid separation. It features high separation accuracy, large flow capacity and long service life.
2. Working Principle
When the medium flows through the coalescing filter element, tiny droplets are adsorbed, collided and condensed on the fiber surface of the filter material, gradually coalescing into larger-sized droplets.
Under the action of gravity or medium flow, large droplets separate from the filter element surface and settle for collection, ultimately achieving two-phase medium separation.
Some models are equipped with a separation layer to prevent the coalesced droplets from being re-entrained, further improving the separation effect.
