Core Structure & Filtration Principle
The cartridge adopts a gradient winding structure design of "outer loose and inner dense". By precisely controlling the yarn thickness and winding density, it forms a step-by-step filtration channel from large outer pores to small inner pores, where the size of inner diamond pores directly determines the filtration accuracy grade. When seawater is pressed in from the filter inlet and flows through the cartridge, the outer loose filter layer first achieves preliminary interception of large-particle impurities (such as sediment and shell fragments). Then the water flows inward to intercept medium-sized suspended solids and tiny colloidal particles in sequence. Finally, the clean water flows through the porous skeleton, converges and discharges from the outlet. Meanwhile, this structure can promote demulsification and separation of emulsions in seawater; tiny water droplets coalesce and settle, then discharge through the blowdown valve to further improve the purity of filtered water. The double O-ring sealing system ensures perfect fit between the cartridge and filter, almost eliminating bypass leakage risk and guaranteeing stable filtration effect.

High-efficiency Impurity Interception: Filtration accuracy covers multiple grades from 1μm to 100μm optional. The removal rate of suspended solids, particles, rust and other impurities in seawater reaches over 95%, which can control the effluent turbidity ≤1NTU, meeting the strict requirement of SDI ≤5 for inlet water of subsequent reverse osmosis membranes, and effectively reducing membrane fouling rate by more than 60%.
Strong Corrosion Resistance & Stability: The main body is made of fully polypropylene, glass fiber and other chemically inert materials, with excellent corrosion resistance to seawater. It is compatible with salts in seawater and common pretreatment chemicals, free of binders and surfactants, with extremely low eluate, avoiding secondary pollution to seawater. It maintains structural stability without deformation under the inlet-outlet pressure difference of 0.4MPa, withstands seawater temperature fluctuation of 5-40℃, and adapts to water temperature changes in different sea areas and seasons.
High Dirt Holding Capacity & Long Service Life: The gradient filtration structure greatly improves the dirt holding capacity of the filter layer, realizes selective interception of pollutants, reduces the probability of filter layer blockage, and extends the service life by more than 30% compared with ordinary cartridges,effectively reducing cartridge replacement frequency and operation and maintenance costs. It also has the characteristics of low pressure difference and high flow rate, with pressure loss ≤0.03MPa and single cartridge flow rate up to 10-15m³/h, ensuring high-efficiency operation of seawater treatment systems.
