Common Installation Issues of Custom High-Efficiency Air Filters
Dimension Mismatch
Gaps/height discrepancies between filter cartridge and installation cavity, misaligned flange/lifting holes (caused by measured/drawing errors, ignored internal equipment space). Forced installation is forbidden; fill gaps with gaskets, return for fine adjustment if holes/height are severely misaligned.
Seal Failure
Air leakage at end covers/flanges/spliced joints (caused by impurities on sealing surfaces, aged/missing gaskets, uneven screw tightening). Clean sealing surfaces, replace suitable gaskets, tighten screws diagonally and evenly, and fasten sealing rubber rings at splices.
Improper Operation
Oil/dust adhesion on filter media from bare-hand contact, cartridge deformation/end cover cracking due to uneven force, and accessory damage from over-tightened screws. Wear cleanroom gloves during installation, apply force evenly with multi-person cooperation, and tighten screws with a torque wrench (or until gaskets are compacted without deformation if no torque specified).
System Incompatibility
Abnormally high pressure drop after installation (mismatched air volume/improper cartridge installation), poor dust cleaning effect (misaligned/improper spacing of pulse blowback nozzles), and abnormal operation noise (loose cartridge/cavity friction). Verify air volume compatibility, adjust nozzle alignment and spacing, and fix the cartridge firmly with shock-absorbing gaskets.
Accessory & Acceptance Issues
Lack of matching accessories, incompatible gasket materials for working conditions (high temperature/humidity/corrosion). Prepare special accessories in advance and select silicone/NBR/FKM gaskets based on working conditions. If filtration efficiency is substandard or air flow is uneven after installation, conduct leak detection and seal defects/leakage points, and adjust cartridges to the same level for uniform air flow.
