The working principle of Candle Filter is to let the liquid flow into the filter tube from the side or top, then pass through the mesh structure of the inner wall of the filter element, and finally discharge from the bottom or side. The filter membrane formed on the inner wall surface of the filter element can separate and capture particles or other pollutants in the solution or suspension. When the retention of the filter element reaches a certain level, the filter element can be cleaned by a cleaning device to remove dirt and accumulation on the surface of the filter element and restore the filtering capacity of the filter element.

Candle Filters are usually used in liquid processing fields such as beverages, chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals. Because it can be used for different filtering tasks by replacing filter elements of different sizes and mesh sizes, it is widely used in industry and laboratories.

Candle Filter Features

Candle Filte is suitable for filtering flocs and large particles of non-viscous media. The filter cake is in dry powder after being pressed and dried. There is no leakage or evaporation of pollutants. It meets environmental protection requirements and can be directly used for subsequent waste treatment. The filter can be designed as manual/automatic type.
